Pizza!!!

Pizza!!!

Again with my point and shoot Panasonic. While sitting at the end of the bar eating a great pizza, I set my camera on the bar. The camera is noiseless, I'm eating and snapping images between bites. I love the contrast between square tiles around the open fire stove and the blurred motion of the cooks. This really represents the mood of the moment. The cooks were moving fast putting out the orders. Especially the cook on the right, sliding a pizza onto a serving pan.

A few months back I went to the Albuquerque International Airport to pickup my son Shane and his now wife Alicia. While waiting for them I noticed the clouds through one of the many windows at the airport. Then I noticed the reflections of the lights. This was way to much for me to ignore. I gathered up my little point and shoot and captured this image. A little post processing of course.
I normally use a Nikon D3, however have become somewhat use to carrying this little Panasonic point and shoot camera. It does fairly well in situations like this. Below is another example from this camera. Another airport shot, in St. Louis this time.

I am not normally fond of a square format these days. The camera setting was inadertantly changed and I was suprised by how much fun it was working on and looking at this image.
